Chicago Police warn of three recent armed robberies in Chinatown
CPD warned the public of three armed robberies reported on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, one occurring around 1:30 a.m. and two occurring just before midnight in the Chinatown neighborhood. Armed Robberies 009th District (Deering) Alert #P24-1 August 16 About the Crime: This alert gives notice to Citizens in the 009th District (Deering) of recent Armed Robberies during the month of August. In these incidents, one to three offenders armed with handguns approach victims on the street and announce a Robbery. The offenders take the Victim's personal property and cash fleeing the scene in a Silver Kia Sportage with Texas Dealer Plate "TCV5044."
