BLM Chicago, which has an X.com account of more than 60,000 followers, posted this week an image of a person paragliding with a Palestinian flag attached to its parachute with the phrase “I stand with Palestine” displayed beneath the graphic. Text in the post stated, "That is all that is it!" Early in the invasion of Israel on Saturday, October 7, 2023, Hamas used paragliders to descend into Israeli territory. A video showed paragliders descending on the area where a trance dance party for peace was held overnight, and where about 260 civilians were murdered. BLM Chicago also deleted the X.com post this week. BLM Chicago posted a message to people who were withdrawing support and were removing BLM signs: "Bye, toodles.
