Location of Sterigenics plant directly across Quincy Street from the Willowbrook Police Department and a Willowbrook water tower. The Village of Willowbrook posted an update Friday February 15, 2019 showing high levels of ethylene oxide were detected earlier in February outside the Willowbrook Police Department, located near government and industrial buildings. New record high readings of 21 parts per billion (which equals 38 micrograms per cubic meter) and 89 parts per billion were recorded at the Willowbrook Village Hall and Police Department, respectively. Indoor readings also taken at both locations are even higher in some cases.

Note: It was relatively difficult to find the numeric address and precise location of the Sterigenics warehouse in Willowbrook.
